Celebrating 25 years of service to the youth in the Mount Pleasant community
A message from our President:
Hello and welcome to our website, home of the Mount Pleasant Optimist Club.
For the past 25 years, our service club has been a very active organization in our small community. It has been said, “it takes a village to raise a child” and thus with a mission of: “providing hope and positive vision, Optimist bring out the best in our youth, our communities and ourselves”.
With events such as; bicycle rodeo, baseball program, craft nights and various other seasonal functions, we provide opportunities for friendship and learning. In addition to those, we also sponsor bursaries for our grade 8 and grade 12 graduates with a requirement of volunteerism in our community.
Our strong partnership with the County of Brant enables the Mt. Pleasant Optimist Club to be stewards of the community by managing our local Community Centre and Nature Park on their behalf.
